Summer Time

 I have a lot of plans for this summer, I guarantee myself that I will not be sitting at home watching TV and being unproductive. These are some of the many things Im doing this summer.

First I’m going to South Beach with my Dad and staying in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, in the Oriental Suite, for seven days. I'm excited cause I get to see my cousins that I haven’t seen in years, I'm going to be at the beach and relaxing on my balcony over looking Miami. After Miami, I’m flying out to the Bahamas, for another week.           

The second thing I’m going to do is go on a cruise to Mexico 5 days 6 nights, of the coast of Cancun, after the cruise, I am going to stay home for about two weeks just cruising in my dads SLR or sitting in my house looking at the beach. Maybe call my cousins and some friends over to party at my house and keep me some company before I leave to my mom’s house in Dubai.

Since the legal age in Dubai is 18 I can do pretty much what ever, I'm going to go to Ferrari world I'm really excited its bigger than Disney Land and its all about Ferrari which is my favorite car since I can remember, they have a Ferrari F430 simulation. And also a ride but the car you’re in is a F1 formula racer.

I hope everyone has a good summer, and ill enjoy mine since I can and I don’t have school or summer school.

My time at Back Bay has been so fun and help full, it has been a great experience the people I have met and the teachers I have had the pleasure to share it all with. I don’t consider this a school for people who mess up, it’s a school for the kid that needs a second chance and cant express his talent in a regular high school because of the over crowding.

I was one of those kids, it was hard for me to over achieve or just simply ask questions because I was a number 130724 to be exact. But when I came to back bay I felt a change In my self I was no longer a number I was Carlos Marroquin and the staff and teachers made me feel that. Also I like how in Back Bay we don’t have homework so that makes the entire school process easier.

I recommend this school to who ever cant or has not been able to express and show there real selves.  The undivided attention and the classrooms with less people give you that tool for people to bloom. And teachers can help you one on one, for example Dr. Markel, Mrs. Moore, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Kovac, and Mr. Walske.

There are no words that can describe our principal Mrs. Davis she is one of the people that have helped me through out the whole year, she is caring, strict, and nice and every characteristic you need to be a principal.

Critical Movie Review

I just watched The Hangover 2, I thought it was hilarious because they used the same story line but they had different twist to it. The characters were the same and a few new ones. My favorite character is Alan (Zach galifianakis ) because he is so innocent and oblivious to danger, fear, and everything around him. He was the cause of what happened to them in the last movie but this time its a mystery thats what makes it so funny. Also the main reason I didn't like it, was they used the same story line as the first movie with the whole getting drunk and losing someone other than that the movie is great and I recommend it. I hate that stupid asian actor he's not even funny, the only reason why people think he's funny is because he's asian and gay. They should've  chosen another actor. The people that created this movie had to think a lot to not make The Hangover 2  like the first movie and that is extremely hard but they had a good director and producer.Even though I didn’t really like  the Music in some of the scenes I like the jokes and the special effects.

Compare and Contrast (Scarface)

I choose the movie Scarface, because it is a classic movie. Al Pacino is the best actor for the role of Tony Montana. Due to his unique acting skills and the way he is versatile with his acting. Roger Ebert doesn't have a star rating for this film but according to his review its a really intriguing film, and I would have to agree with him because I felt like the movie had a good plot behind it and the setting was good. Robert Ebert review also expresses the concern people had when the movie came out, some people thought of it a a flamboyant film about violence and drugs, yes the movie has that I don't agree with that lifestyle I just like the movie, because of the action.

My Dream School

The school of my dream is LMU (Loyola Mary mount University) I have been looking at this school, ever since my older sister went there in 2009 it is a great school for law and business. I want to study business law, because me and my dad want to open a law firm. I would like to play rugby there i met the rugby team and the coach they have a great staff.

I want to join many organizations, sursum corda is one of them it is a non profit organization and it organizes many events, I hope to graduate from LMU with a business major.

My 5 Year Plan

My plan for the next 5 years is to first graduate from high school with a 3.0 GPA average, as soon as I accomplish that goal I want to go to college I don't know what college I want to attend but I should have made a decision by the time I am a senior. Mean while I am in college I will be working with my dad in his company getting familiar with the business also i will be living by myself and be able to pay for my bills with the money I make from work.

After I graduate college I hope I have the knowledge and the experience to take over  my dads company so he can retire and I can start making money and buy myself my first house, these goals are going to take time and be hard but I believe in myself and I know I can do it.

Carlos Marroquin is a junior at Back Bay High school, he has a 3.0 GPA and he is involved in as many activities as he can, such as Field trips, events, and he is soon going to camp RYLA. The youth leadership camp (RYLA) is going to give him many tools to use during his lifetime. Carlos is also involved with a group named best buddies which is a program for kid with disabilities.

Carlos Marroquin is a trust worthy man, he has many talents and he is extremely hard working, he doesn’t quit anything. If starts something he finishes it, to him quitting isn’t an option or a thought in his head. If he has a problem with something he will figure it out not just stand there and let it become a problem, he finds an answer to a something before it even becomes a problem.

Carlos is a quick thinker and a improviser but that not the only reason Carlos is success full, he’s great with people and talking to customers his sense of humor and his capacity to determine the appropriate time and place for his actions makes him who he is. Carlos has an amazing capacity to talk to people on the phone or in person really easily, he doesn’t get nervous and he is persuasive he can sell anything you give him.

My favorite Record Label is Cash Money Records also known as YMCMB (YoungMoneyCashMoneyBillionares). To me this is the most legit record labels because my favorite artist  are in it like Drake, Birdman( CEO) Lil wayne, Nicki Minaj. I have like this since the first time I heard birdman and his song for My Town i started researching them and now they are my favorite Record label.
